AMA is a full service division 8 consulting and specification writing firm.  Our intent is to prepare a custom specification which meets all applicable codes, design criteria, budgets and to assist in expediting the process to bring the project to completion, on time.  Safety and security are integral to our built environment and our specifications.  We believe in open and fair specifications which will insure the integrity of the competitive bid process while meeting your quality standards.

AMA will assist the interior designer implement a design theme as it relates to the door / frame styles and hardware lever design.  This will be accomplished with the owner’s budget in mind.  We are extremely experienced in design / build construction; with a special emphasis on hotels, adult care living facilities and especially mixed use high rise residential / commercial developments.  Let us propose design solutions for your next project.

Owners / Developers

AMA excels in working with the owner and developer to provide door and hardware solutions which meet design criteria, budgets, and building codes.  We remain fluid and dynamic in communicating with the general contactor, architect/engineer and owner.  Our goal is to utilize innovative products, strategies and concepts in providing high quality aesthetics at a value oriented budget, on time.  When necessary, we will utilize our overseas custom manufacturing contacts to provide specific designs in volume, maximizing your construction budget.  After your designs and budgets are established, let us provide a mock-up door / frame and hardware assembly for your approval.  Once approved, we will write the specifications to insure you receive what you want, on time, and in budget.

General Contractors

AMA prefers to be proactive when it comes to the installation of architectural doors and hardware.  Our goal is to have it done right the first time.  If not, we will be there to solve problems when they arise.  We understand time constraints, inspections, certificates of occupancy and what liquidated damages mean.

AMA’s goal is to provide the safest and most secure environment for the occupants of the building.  We also intend on reducing maintenance for the facilities personnel which minimizes the costs to run the facility and maximize the life of the building.  Extended warranties on hardware up to 25 years and lifetime warranties on wood doors and some hardware items validate your decisions.  And our patent (pending) serialized key control system is no upcharge over standard key systems and provides peace of mind knowing that unauthorized keys will not be available.  Let us minimize liability by providing the greatest safety and security within your environment.
